As a retired teacher, René is familiar with curriculum requirements and themes and can direct his presentations to specific topics or subject areas. Just ask. He has worked at hard-rock mining, truck driving, high-rise construction work, officer trainee on a lake freighter, acting and teaching, and has traveled by bicycle, motorcycle, canoe and truck through North America and Europe. Recently he taught Senior Drama at a local high school. René is an engaging story-teller who uses various voices, props, and vivid details to hold his audience’s attention. René’s best-selling books on Canadian Disasters have been in school libraries since 1985 and now include four editions. Presentation Details
As a retired teacher René know how to engage and hold an audience’s attention. He can easily adapt to any size audience or age group and he loves to answer questions.
