PRESENTATION DETAILS
My
grade-school presentations are based around my two children’s books
(Jean Chretien and William Lyon Mackenzie King). These books are aimed
at children aged 7 – 14. They offer kids a colourful history lesson
complete with insights about Canadian politics, sociology and pop
culture.
I am
comfortable speaking to an audience of any size, in a classroom,
library, gym or auditorium setting.
While my
true-crime works are aimed at a general audience (ages 12 and up), I
would be more than happy to do a reading based around any of these
books. The Black Donnelly’s
(the true story of Canada’s legendary feuding family in 19th
Century Ontario, not the TV show of the same name) in particular would
lend itself to a good presentation, in English or History class.
