Natale Ghent

Silver Birch Fiction Nominee 2010

Authors’ Booking Service is pleased to announce that award-winning YA author Natale Ghent is available for school visits.

Natale’s schedule is flexible and she would love to plan a visit to your school or library.  Her rate is $300 per session, $250 per session for two sessions or more, plus travel from Toronto.

Natale is a high-energy presenter who loves interacting with the children.

Here’s what Teacher/Librarian Sybille Parry of Kew Beach Public School said about this author:

Natale Ghent was our Visiting Silver Birch Author in 2005. Students thoroughly enjoyed her presentation. The images she used, spanning a wide range of popular culture, captured their imaginations, and her easy, positive approach created an atmosphere ripe for discussion and reflection. No Small Thing was warmly received by students at Kew Beach school, and they eagerly await the sequel. I can highly recommend Natale to schools and libraries for her warm, approachable style, and her engaging presentation material.

Natale is a member of The Writers' Union of Canada, and so schools wishing to invite her may be eligible for a travel and fee subsidy to off-set the cost of her visit. For details of this program, please go contact us
