Here’s
what some who’ve seen The Lost Alien Show have to say:
Your
visit was so enjoyed! Teachers came up to me in the days following your
presentation with so many comments about how they loved everything
about what you did. They appreciated your command of the content and
the imaginative work you did with the students and with Ambrosia. Out
of this World is in high demand too!
Thanks again for your enthusiastic visit to our school.

Ravenscourt School, Winnipeg, Manitoba
It was
such a pleasure having you at our library and what fun we had listening
to your wonderful program. Your captivated our kids and that is what it
is all about. Falling into a book, having fun doing it and learning at
the same time. You were fantastic.

I just
want to say again how amazing it was to have you at the library. Since
your visit we've received several drawings of Ambrosia and a delightful
"thank you" letter from one of the classes. We loved having you and
you're welcome back any time!

Following on
the success of Jurassic Poop: The Mysterious Case of Who Dung It?
Jacob has created another show based on his new book Out of This
World: The Amazing Search for an Alien Earth.
The
Lost Alien Show
Join Jacob
Berkowitz for a 30-minute, interactive, theatrical-style puppet show
that will take you out-of-this-world. Ambrosia the alien is lost, and
needs our help to find her way home. How hard can this be? There are
only eight planets in our Solar System. But, Ambrosia isn't from our
Solar System. She's from an exoplanet—an amazing planet around another
star. Join the search for an alien Earth and help this ET go home!
With fun and laughter, the show introduces audiences to the present-day
search for exoplanets, and particularly another living, Earth-like
planet. Each presentation is followed by a 15-minute Q&A session.
The alien
puppet Ambrosia was built by former Fraggle Rock puppeteer and master
puppet maker Trish Leeper.
Grades: The show works best with grades 2 to 6.
Number of
students: The maximum number of students per show is 125. The show
works equally well with a single class as with 125 kids.
Venue: I can
present the show in almost any venue whether a classroom, library,
auditorium, or gymnasium. Ideally, I’m on the same floor level as the
audience.
Equipment
required: a chair.
