Service is pleased
to announce that children’s illustrator, David Jardine, is now
scheduling visits to Ontario schools for the coming school year.
David would love to
plan a visit to
your school or library. His rate is $150 per session plus
standard kilometrage from Toronto, and $40 per session towards
long-distance travel.
David is a natural
performer with
experience on stage in a variety of acting roles, and as the master
of ceremonies for assorted community events. With artistic
influences such as Edward Gorey and Mary Blair, David’s
illustrations bring Valerie Sherrard’s story, There’s a COW
Under My Bed! to life with bold colours and wacky details that
are sure to delight young readers.

Presentation Details
David
takes the
students through an engaging journey of growth using his own
experiences as a humorous guide. He does a one-item demonstration of
what his artwork looked like when he was a child, and then brings it
forward in several stages to the present day – inspiring them to
keep at whatever it is they love to do.
